Black Girls in Tech was founded with the purpose of becoming a community for black women. It was created to be a safe space where black women can come together, encourage / motivate one another and help each other on our journey. Our aim to to make technology more accessible to black women and to increase the representation of black women in technology.
We aim to foster a community of black women who are in technology at any level and those who want to get into the tech space. We offer a network , a sense of community , sisterhood and mentorship.
We aim to provide resources for those in tech and those who want to get into tech in the form of existing resources and our own curated educational resources/bootcamps.
We aim to give opportunities to our members such as scholarships , bootcamps and also market jobs on our website.
